We had an amazing dinner. The atmosphere was great, we sat outside close to the pool and it was just a gorgeous night. Our server was Maria who did a phenomenal job throughout the night. All staff was great. Maria explained everything detailed and was very knowledgeable about the different meals. Food was magnificent, we had the snapper with mashed potato’s and Brussels sprouts, everything was very tasty. Desert was next level! So good. We will be back! Thank you for the best night ever

Menu was small, only few selection but the Food were YUMMY! Dishes were simple but taste very good Very good selection of drinks Considering the restaurant was in a hotel we thought it would be more expensive but priced just right!! We would go back again!! If you don't want to pay for expensive parking may need to walk a few blocks away!

There are no words to express our appreciation of the amazing experience we had at The Matador. Ely, the chef and the staff went all out from the setting, to the service, to the food. We will never forget the evening. Thank you for everything and for making the evening truly special.

Loved the Matador. The food and drinks were excellent, service was attentive and friendly, and the vibes are great. We had a pea guacamole, which was flavorful and fresh. Good combination of flavors and came with a generous portion of tortilla chips. The octopus appetizer was truly exceptional — and my octopus standards are particularly high, if I may say so myself. Full of flavor, soft, and yet cooked through and not slimy at all. Loved that dish. The snapper entree was also fantastic — fresh, very tasty, cooked to perfection, and a good portion. Lastly the coconut tres leches dessert was so great we ordered it again through room service a couple of nights later. Great place!

I’m a huge Jean-Georges fan but this restaurant elevated his recipes far beyond what I’ve had at other places like ABCv, ABC cocina, or the Fulton. The service was incredible - a special shout out to Middy who made us feel very special with a small gift. And to our server who was super friendly and picked an absolutely incredible dessert for us. Good food can be found anywhere but the service is what elevates an experience from an unremarkable event to something you’ll never forget. The staff here embodies that idea. Simple acts of kindness can bring a patron having a bad day to someone who will sing your praises and leave better for having experienced your restaurant.

This was a wonderful dining experience! The service and atmosphere of the restaurant (I highly recommend sitting outside!) was superb and the food was incredible. Each plate is meant to be shared and come out as they are prepared. This allowed us to enjoy the food and experience that much more. Wonderful wine and cocktail list too!

Highlight of the place is attentive servers. Have visited the place several times, food is great, and it is attention to detail that comes through in every dish. Even side salad and breakfast potatoes are excellent! Short rib tacos are one of my favorite items on the menu. When ordering guacamole you can ask for a side of veggies which are always fresh and flavorful instead of chips if you want to be on a healthier side. Burger is great, drinks are really yum as well.

Great food and even better atmosphere! Outdoors is phenomenal and very nice. Food was great, the place is by Jean-Georges, so we never doubted the food. We ordered a lot of things - Avocado Pizza (very unique and amazing), Mushroom tacos (to die for), Brussel sprouts were soooo yum (even though I am usually not a big fan). The drinks were expensive but very good. Overall a great experience
